Services for Gary Lee Throckmorton, 29, of Loop, and formerly of Whitharral, will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Loop Church of Christ in Loop with Brother Hal Rogers officiating. Burial will be in the Loop Cemetery under the direction of Head Family Funeral Home of Seagraves. Visitation was after 1 p.m. Saturday. Throckmorton, a self-employed truck driver, was a victim of a hit and run Thursday at Corpus Christi. He was born Feb. 20,1968 and was graduated from Whitharral High School. He also served in the U.S. Navy. Survivors include his parents, Glenn and Lana Throckmorton of Loop; his sister, Amy Throckmorton, also of Loop; his grandparents: Clifford and Prissy Throckmorton of Whitharral and C.L. Mahaney of Farwell; and his great-grandparents, Margaret Pointer of Muleshoe and Ursula Pittner of Hereford. Pallbearers will be Carl Speck, Justin Mahaney, Jody Mahaney, Matt Thetford, Chad Pendergrass and Mike Stafford
