*Obituary
Graveside services for Glenda June Watts, age 75 of Alvarado, Texas and formerly of Seminole, will be held Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Gaines County Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Mike Foster officiating. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.

Mrs. Watts was born May 25, 1943 in Winnsboro, Texas to Ethel (Elledge) Casey and Cornelius Casey. She married Jerry High and cared for him during his illness until his death; she then married Kenneth Gary Watts in Odessa, Texas. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church and had graduated from Southwestern Bible Institute in 1961 in Waxahachie, Texas. She worked as a telephone operator, and had also worked as an LVN.

Glenda loved playing the accordion and singing during her youth, and performed many times in a variety of churches. She took every opportunity to share the truth and her love for Christ. She was a caring, nurturing person who never met a stranger. Her grandchildren were the love of her life, as was her entire family.

Glenda Watts passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at Harris Methodist Hospital in Ft. Worth, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Jerry High and her second husband Kenneth Watts, and two sisters, Bonnie Cantrell, and Frances Swann. She is survived by two daughters, Audra High of Healdton, Oklahoma, and Dana Stockton and husband Jeffrey of Cleburne, Texas; one brother, Carl Casey and wife June of Broaddus, Texas; and three grandchildren, Hadley, Zayli, and Ryker.
