Mark Stark, 74, of Odessa, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2007, at Deerings Nursing Home. He was born August 14, 1932, in Wink. He was raised in Crane. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked for TU Electric for 41 years in the transmission department. He was a Life Master Bridge player and played in bridge tournaments. He loved dogs especially large dogs and being outdoors. He also enjoyed woodworking.
He is survived by his son, Bobby Stark and wife, Lawana of Odessa, daughter, Kathlene Spanglonetto of Colorado, sister, Joan Lowe of Claremore, Oklahoma, (5) grandchildren, (4) great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and his dog, Sadie.
There will be a visitation from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday, January 26, 2007, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 27, 2007, at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be at 4:00 p.m. Saturday at the Gaines County Cemetery in Seminole.
