Graveside services for Dorothy “Faye” Starkey, age 81 of Seminole, Texas will be held Thursday, September 19, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. with Jay Starkey officiating. The family will host a visitation at Boyer Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 from 6 to 8 p.m. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.

Mrs. Starkey was born October 30, 1937 in Graham, Oklahoma to Sara (Garrett) and Leonard Cagle. She married Jimmy Lee Starkey on February 5, 1955 in Gainesville, Texas. She was a Baptist and a member of the Eastern Star. She loved life and people, and she loved her family dearly.

Faye Starkey passed away at her home in Seminole Sunday, September 15, 2019. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Jimmy Lee Starkey; and three sisters, Thelma Byram, Carolyn Calger, and Kay Smith. She is survived by two sons, Jay Starkey and wife Shelli of Brownfield, Texas and Rick Starkey and wife Natalie of Seminole, Texas; two daughters, Vickie Berry and husband Ron of Seminole, Texas and Patty Tyson of Seminole, Texas; one brother-in-law, Kenny Starkey and wife Karen; one nephew, Kenny Byrum and wife Karen; one niece, Melissa Calger; eight grandchildren, Scotty Berry and wife Sarah, Derrick Berry and wife Stacy, Bobby Berry, Chase Tyson and wife Crystal, Garet Starkey and wife Mandy, Kaydee Starkey, Seth Johnson and wife Jayci, and Brody Starkey; seven great-grandchildren, Katelynn Berry, Taylor Berry, Blake Tyson, Raylee Tyson, Taytum Berry, Teaghan Bayless, and Jace Bayless.
