Funeral services for Silvestra Gonzales, 77, of Seminole will be conducted Monday, December 9, 2019 at 10:30 A.M. at Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel with James Frazelle officiating. Internment will follow in the Gaines County Cemetery with services under the direction of Ratliff Funeral of Seminole. She passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 in Seminole.

Silvestra was born on December 7, 1941 in McFaddin to Pedro and Genoveva Poncio. She married Pedro Gonzales on September 16, 1963. She came from a humble background and instilled in her children the love of Jehovah our almighty Father, faith, courage, and family. She loved to read her bible, attend meetings at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, watch westerns, and family time.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Pedro Gonzales, son, Ruben Gonzales and brothers.

She had one grandson, Steven Deleon, who was her favorite. She is survived by four daughters Genoveva Gonzales of Denver City, Norma Linda Gonzales, Frances Gonzales, and Janie Deleon of Seminole along with Steven Deleon of Denver, Colorado.

Family and friend visitation will be held Saturday and Sunday December 7 and 8 all day in the Ratliff Funeral Home
