Funeral Mass for Bonifacio Espino, Sr. of Seminole, Texas will be celebrated Monday, February 10, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church with Father Jose De Dios Gonzalez officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. Rosary will be held Sunday, February 9, 2020 from 6 to 7 p.m. at St. James Catholic Church. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.

Mr. Espino was born in Monclava, Mexico on June 5, 1932 to Guadalupe (Zavala) and Isaac Espino. He married Cleotilde Garcia in Andrews, Texas on March 21, 1986. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church and was a construction worker for many years. Bonifacio loved spending time with his family and being around animals, especially dogs; he was a good father, grandfather, and a great provider for his family and had a very strong Christian faith.

Bonifacio Espino, Sr. passed away Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Seminole Memorial Hospital in Seminole, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Manuela Jimenez; his second wife, Cleotilde Garcia; two sons, and two brothers. He is survived by four sons, Porfirio Espino and wife Lupe of Seminole, Texas, Martin Espino and wife Rosa of Sunray, Texas, Bonifacio Espino Jr. and wife Estela, and Manuel Espino and wife Gregoria, both of Mexico; four daughters, Carmela Espino and Aida Espino and husband Efrain, both of Mexico, Guadalupe Espino and husband Francisco of Sunray, Texas, and Silvia Saldana of Seminole, Texas; two brothers Jose Angel Espino and wife Bernada and Celestino Espino, both of Seminole, Texas; one sister Maria Grado of Seminole, Texas; 28 grandchildren, 73 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.
