Elida was born in Sinton, Texas, to Jesus Arroyo and Carmen Gonzalez on July 17, 1932. Elida was a devoted caregiver, housewife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a friend to many. Elida is survived by daughter Sylvia Ann and husband John David Unger; son Ruben Ancira and wife Sylvia Roblez; and daughter-in- law Rosie Parras Ancira. Surviving grandchildren are Chelsea Unger Clay, Timothy Roblez, Cyndel Unger Payne and husband Christopher, Cody Ancira, Kristen Ancira and Kinsey Ancira. Elida lived each moment of her life as a faithful Christian, passing on her deep faith to her family. She served St. William Catholic Church joyfully and is now joyfully serving in heaven. To have known her is to know her works. Heartfelt thanks go out to the wonderful caring angels of Interim Health Care, Hospice of San Angelo, Home Hospice of Denver City, Shinnery Oaks of Denver City, Dr. Peter Chang and John Dierker of Holy Angels Church. Special thanks to all her friends who not only loved her but have given that love to her family as well. Published in GoSanAngelo from August 28 to August 29, 2012
