DENVER CITY Emmett Howard Burnett, 85, of Denver City, died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2007, in Denver City.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Trinity Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Pierson officiating. Burial will be at Denver City Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Ratliff Funeral Home.

He was born in Mexia. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church.

SURVIVORS Wife, Martha Burnett of Denver City; son, Howard Burnett of Odessa; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Source: Ratliff Funeral Home.

Funeral services are scheduled at 2 p.m. Friday at the Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel in Denver City with the Rev. Dave Adkins officiating. Burial will be at Denver City Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Ratliff Funeral Home of Denver City.

She was born in Dallas.
