William Virgil McCalmon, age 88, died November 3, 2012, in Hobbs. He was born April 4, 1924, in Creighton, MI, to Paul and Hattie McCalmon. He married Marolyn McMillian June 29, 1965, in Denver City, TX. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Denver City.
William worked for Texaco Oil Co. for 35 years. He was the owner of several businesses. He loved his family most of all.
Surviving William is his wife, Marolyn, of Hobbs; a daughter, Lisa Hardison, and husband Shawn, of Hobbs; and a granddaughter, Taylor Hardison of Hobbs.
Preceding him in death were his parents and a sister, Pauline McKinney.
