Indian Campaigns Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient. He served as a Corporal in the United States Army in Company I, 4th US Cavalry. He was awarded the Medal of Honor for action on September 29, 1872 at Red River, Texas. His citation reads "Bravery in action". He has a "In Memory Of" marker only.
