Born 1850
Indian Campaigns Congressional Medal of Honor Recipient. He served as a Private in the United States Army in Company E, 4th US Cavalry. He was awarded the Medal of Honor for action on September 26-28, 1874 at Red River, Texas. His citation reads "Gallantry in attack on a large party of Cheyennes."
