Virginia Silva, 90 Virginia "Vickie" Trinidad Silva passed away on Friday, October 16, 2015 in Floresville at the age of 90 years 3 months. She was a born in Floresville on July 16, 1925 to Juan & Florencia Herrera Trinidad. She was a resident of Floresville and a former resident of Denver City, Tx. for 45 years.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Plasido Silva; Parents; Brothers, Santiago, Sr., Guillermo, Elisandro, Theodore & Frank Trinidad Sisters Herminia & Refugia Trinidad & Avelina Lopez; Grandchildren, Lori D'Ann Silva & Robert Rodriguez, Jr. She is survived by her Children, Anita Perez of Chicago, Antonia & husband, Johnny Rodriguez of Floresville, Elena & husband, Eddie Estrada of San Antonio, Rudy & wife, Teresa Silva of Denver City, Arturo & wife, Virginia Silva of Floresville; Sister, Alejandra Conde of Seagraves;
Fourteen Grandchildren, Thirty Great Grandchildren & Eight Great Great Grandchildren numerous Nieces, Nephews and a host of friends. Visitation was held on Thursday, October 22, 2015 at 6:00 PM. in Franklin Funeral Home. Rosary was recited at 7:00 PM. on Thursday in Franklin Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation was held on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 9:00 A.M. in St. William Catholic Church in Denver City. Mass was celebrated at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 24, 2015 in St. William Catholic Church with Rev. Heriverto Mercado officiating. Interment followed in Denver City Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers were Robert Rodriguez, Sr., Johnny Ray Rodriguez, Sr., Andres Perez, David Perez, Eddie Rene Estrada, Roland Estrada, Jacob Silva, Randy Silva, Jason Silva & Daniel. Ramirez. Legacy.com

Funeral mass for Plasido Silva, age 85 of Denver City, Texas will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 15, 2008 at St. Williams Catholic Church in Denver City, with Father Joe Thanavelil officiating. Burial will follow in Denver City Memorial Park. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Chapel of Denver City, in association with Boyer Funeral Home of Seminole.
Mr. Silva passed away March 11, 2008 at his residence in Denver City. He was born in Fredericksburg, Texas on October 11, 1922 to Melania & Cruz Silva. He married Virginia Trinidad in December 1931 in Floresville, Texas. He was a Catholic, and worked as a farmer. He was a lovable and religious man, dedicated to his Catholic faith. He loved his children and grandchildren greatly, and was still a hard worker, even at his age. Citizens of Denver City knew him for his hard work no matter the weather conditions.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia, of the home; 2 sons, Rudy Silva & wife Teresa of Denver City, Texas and Arturo Silva & wife Virginia of Floresville, Texas; 3 daughters, Anita Perez of Rockford, Illinois, Antonia Rodriguez & husband Johnny of Floresville, Texas, and Elena Estrada & husband Eddie of San Antonio, Texas; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
