Funeral services were conducted for Homer Dean Williamson, 87 of Denver City, November 14, 2011, at 3:P.M. in the Trinity Baptist Church with Reverend Jessie Garcia officiating. Interment will follow in the Denver City Memorial Park Cemetery with services under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Denver City.
Homer was born June 27, 1924 in Irene, Texas to Luther and Bertha Williamson. He married Alta Nelson in Hill County, Texas on March 15, 1950. He worked for Moore Well Service and Pate Trucking before retiring in 1989. Homer served in the Army. He was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church.
Three brothers and 4 sisters preceded him in death.
His wife Alta Williamson; a daughter Cindy Ramirez and husband Jose; a brother Oscar Lee Williamson; a grandson Christopher Ramirez and wife Mary Ann of Colorado; a granddaughter Alice Franco and husband Nabor of San Angelo, Texas; and a great grandson, Christain Ramirez, survive him.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Trinity Baptist Youth Department. Ratliff Funeral Home.
