Harold L. Meller, resident of Wichita, Kan., and Kaw City, former freight salesman and retired from United Warehouse, passed away Saturday, June 2, 2012. He was 78.

Harold Leo Meller was born on Monday, October 23, 1933 in Lakin, Kansas. He was the oldest of 4 children born to his parents, Henry Fredrick Meller and Emilie (Miller) Meller.

Visitation is from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, with the family present 6 to 7:30 p.m. The funeral will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Webb-Shinkle Mortuary in Clearwater, Kan. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Thursday in St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Darrouzett, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Emilie Miller Meller; and sisters, Dorothy Meller and Dorothy Ann Phelps.
