Donnie Newman, age 67, passed away at his residence in Snyder on Wednesday, June 17, 2015.
Family Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, June 18, 2015 from 6PM to 7PM at Wright Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be the following Friday, June 19, 2015 at 11 O'Clock AM at Calvary Baptist Church with Brother Larry McAden officiating. Burial will follow in the Trinity Memorial Park in Big Spring, Texas at 2 O'Clock PM.
Mr. Newman was born on January 15, 1948, in Electra, Texas to Floyd and Dorothy Newman. He married Shirley Ann Dickey on January 15, 1980 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Donnie was a Production Foreman in the Oilfield Industry. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Snyder.
Surviving Mr. Newman is his Wife Shirley Newman of Snyder, Texas. 1 Brother and Sister-in-law Wayne & Nancy Newman of The Colony, Texas. 1 Sister Patsy Ashworth of Snyder, Texas; 1 Son and Daughter-in-law Brad & Tricia Newman of Snyder, Texas; 1 Daughter and Son-in-law Jennifer & Chris shoemake of Abilene, Texas; Niece Tammy & Rick Morton of Roby, Texas; Nephew Laney & Julie Ashworth of Snyder, Texas; Niece Threasa & Mark Ray of San Angelo, Texas; 3 Nephews Steven, Cory, and James Newman of The Colony, Texas; And, 1 Aunt Jackie Doering of Comanche, Texas; Also, by grand-daughters Shelby & Analeigh.
