Obituary:
DARROUZETT - Marion Thomas "Bus" MOUNSEY, 86, died Thursday, June 28, 2001.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 15, 2001, in the Booker Friends Church. The body was donated to medical science. Arrangements are by Good Samaritan Funeral Service of Booker.
Mr. MOUNSEY was born Feb. 8, 1915, in Booker, to Thomas and Minnie Howard MOUNSEY. During World War II he served with the 3rd Division of the Marine Corps in the Pacific Theater and the Battle of Iwo Jima.
Survivors include his wife, Naomi; two sons, Barrie MOUNSEY of Booker and Tommy MOUNSEY of Amarillo; a daughter, Gloriadel COLTART of San Mateo, Calif.; a sister, Annie CORKILL of Winfield, Kans.; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to the Booker School scholarship funds, the Ricky Jergenson ScholaCPL US MARINE CORP - (World Wrship Fund or a favorite charity.
