Graveside services for Kenneth Odell Hart, 86 of Seagraves were held Thursday, December 12, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. in the Gaines County Cemetery in Seagraves with Rev. BennieWright officiating. Services were under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Seagraves. He passed away Monday, December 9 in Lubbock.

Kenneth was born January 26, 1933 in Seagraves to Dal and Edith Taylor Hart. Kenneth and Nadine Petty were married June 20, 1959 in Seagraves. He served in the United States Army for three years, was a lifelong resident of Seagraves, was employed by Colombian Carbon Plant for 18 years and after it closed, he worked in the oilfield. He loved all sports and loved playing golf; he attended Ranger Jr. College where he played quarterback and also played basketball. Kenneth is preceded in death by a son Greg Hart in 2019, an infant son Jerry Don Hart.

Kenneth is survived by his wife Nadine Hart of Seagraves; two sons Jim Hart and wife Rae Anne of Brownfield and Dennis Hart and wife Tresa of Seagraves; two sisters Rhuie Thompson of Houston and Deb Martin of Texarkana, Arkansas; along with three grandchildren Courtney Hart, Kendra Fulton and Chris Gober.

The family suggests memorials to the New Mexico Christian Children Home, 1356 New Mexico Hwy 236, Portales, New Mexico 88130-9411.
