Funeral Mass for Henry Romo, age 62 of Seagraves, Texas will be celebrated Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church in Seagraves with Father Jose DeDios Gonzalez officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery in Seagraves. Rosary will be held Monday, November 25, 2019 at St. Paul Catholic Church from 7 to 8 p.m. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home of Seminole.
Mr. Romo was born September 30, 1957 in Brownfield, Texas to Leonarda (Medina) and Juan Romo. He was a Catholic and worked as a backhoe operator. Henry enjoyed music, singing, muscle cars, and telling stories of his life experiences. He also loved all women, but he especially loved his family.
Henry Romo passed away at Yoakum County Hospital in Denver City, Texas on Saturday, November 23, 2019. He is preceded in death by his father, Juan Romo and one daughter, Blanca Yvonne Chaverria. He is survived by one son, Mario Alberto Chavarria of Hobbs, New Mexico; his mother, Leonarda Romo of Seagraves, Texas; three brothers, Jaime Romo and wife Nedi of Midland, Texas, Roger Romo and wife Gracie of Abilene, Texas, and Carlos Romo and wife Sally of Hebronville, Texas; five sisters, Linda Romo of Denver City, Texas, Gracie Martinez and husband Plutraco of Seagraves, Texas, Gloria Vega and husband Jose Rodolfo of Seagraves, Texas, Geraldine Melendez and husband Thomas of Artesia, New Mexico, and Jasmine
