Obituary
Claxton
Funeral services for Vera Viola Claxton, 80, of Cameron, were held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Green Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Lafferty officiating.
Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery in Cameron.
Mrs. Claxton died Tuesday in a New Braunfels hospital following a brief illness.
She was a native of Milano and retired from the Civil Service, and was a member of the Battetown Baptist Church.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
