Sharon Menefee Jones, 43, of Lubbock passed away Tuesday February 6, 2007 at University Medical Center in Lubbock. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Monday February 12, 2007 at Clalvary Baptist Church in Andrews. Rev. Julius Brooks of Midland and Rev. Bennie Anderson of Canyon will officiate. Burial will be in Andrews North Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.

Sharon was born September 18, 1963 in Andrews, Texas. She graduated from Andrews High School in 1982 and attended Odessa College and Texas Tech University. She married Gary Jones in 1994 in Lubbock. She was a Bus driver for Durham Transportation and she lived in Lubbock for the past 25 years. She loved football and Basketball, The Texas Tech Red Raiders and the Dallas Cowboys. She loved her children and was a good mother.

She was preceded in death by her Father - Robert Earl Menefee in 2003, and a daughter - Candice Nicole in 1985. She is survived by - her ex husband - Gary Jones of Lubbock; Three Daughters - Brittney Jones; Kandra Jones and Azah Jones all of Lubbock; Her Mother - Annie Menefee of Andrews; one Brother - Robert Menefee, Jr. of Odessa; four Sisters - Pearlie Mae Thomas of Lubbock; Doretta Menefee of San Diego, CA; Brenda Menefee of Andrews; and Melissa Green of Andrews. and one Granddaughter - Sylbria Brinkley of Lubbock.
