Funeral services for Anna Redecop, age 86 of Seminole, Texas will be held Friday, March 13, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Old Colony Mennonite Church with Pastor Niel Fehr officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.

Mrs. Redecop was born in Mexico on June 7, 1933 to Jake and Maria Zacharias. She married Peter Redecop on October 1, 1950. Anna loved children, and she was a peacemaker and kindhearted. She always had a meal ready for the family as a token of her great love of her family.

Anna Redecop passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at Shinnery Oaks Nursing Home in Denver City, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, seven siblings, three children, three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. She is survived by her husband, Peter Redecop of Seminole; six sons, Jacob Redecop and wife Helen, Peter Redecop and wife Nancy, Abe Redecop and wife Margaret, Frank Redecop and wife Mary, David Redecop and wife Cathy, and Isaac Redecop and wife Tina, all of Seminole; five daughters, Mary Zacharias and husband Abe of Alberta Canada, and Sara Giesbrecht and husband Dave, Ann Neudorf and husband Isaac, Susan Peters and husband Frank, Margie Redekopp and husband Dave, all of Seminole; one daughter- in-law, Susie Redecop of Lubbock, Texas; 73 grandchildren, 172 great-grandchildren, and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
