Teddy Lee "Max" Reston, 52, died at St. Mary of the Plains Hospital in Lubbock.
He was born in Hamlin and moved from Jal to Denver City in 1970. He married Claudine Walker on September 14, 1957, in Jal. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean conflict, and a member of Assembly of God Church.
Survivors included his wife; three sons, Darrell Ray of Snyder, Donnie Lee of Seagraves and Roger Gordon of Sudan; and a sister, Ann Bohannan of Stamford.
