Obituary:
George SCHOLLENBARGER, 82, of Amarillo, died Jan. 18, 1996.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Jan. 21, at the First United Methodist Church in Darrouzett with Rev. Don Travis officiating.
Burial was in Darrouzett Cemetery under the direction of Good Samaritan Funeral Service of Booker.
He was born Aug. 29, 1913 in Gray, OK, and grew up in Perryton. He married Lois Roper on June 8, 1935 in Guymon, OK. They lived in Perryton for a time, and then in Liberal, KS, where he worked at a dry cleaners at the
Army Air Base.
In 1946, they moved to Clarendon, operating George's Dry Cleaners. for 27 years. They then moved to the Fort Worth area, before living in Wilburton, OK, where he oper-
ated a dry cleaners for three years, for 18 years. He lived in Amarillo for the past two years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and one sister.

He is survived by his wife, Lois, of the home; one daughter, Kay Bain of Wilburton; one brother, Burl SCHOLLENBARGER of Platte City, MO; two sisters, Helen CRABB and Betty GIBSON, both of Shawnee, OK; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
