Herman L. Vandiver, 86, of Andrews passed away Sunday, August 24, 2014 at Permian Regional Medical Center in Andrews.
Herman was born October 29, 1927 in Poynor, Texas. He proudly served in the US Army. He married Norma Young on April 16, 1971 in Lovington, NM.
He owned and operated Herman's Welding for many years in Andrews. He attended the House of Mercy Ministries in Andrews. He loved to fish and hunt and in his earlier years enjoyed playing "42". Herman loved to give his buddies a hard time and loved their company, he also loved family time.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma; son, Tommy Norberg his parents, Emory and Belle Vandiver; brother W. C. Vandiver and his sister, Zenia Mae Shaver.
