Terry Wilson, 77, of Andrews died Wednesday, July 22, 1998, in Permian General Hospital in Andrews.

He was born Feb. 7, 1921, in Foster, Okla. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He received the Presidential Unit Citation and the Purple Heart.

He married Joyce Questell on Nov. 1, 1947, in Norris City, Ill. They moved to Andrews in 1969. He was a charter member of the Andrews Eagles Lodge.

He received the Degree of Pilgrim in the Andrews Moose Lodge. He was a member of the American Legion Post 109 of Norris City, Ill., and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Carmi, Ill.

He worked for Atlantic Richfield Co. in Andrews as a gang pusher.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jeffrey W. of Mesquite and Timothy of Andrews; a brother, Arnold of Oakdale, Ill.; a sister, Mary Hustus of Andrews; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
