Obituary:
DARROUZETT - Mona Agnes SCHWAB, 78, died Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2003, in Amarillo.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First Christian Church of Booker with Jim O'Banion officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors of Amarillo, 2820 Virginia Circle.
Mrs. SCHWAB was born in Holly, Colo., on March 2, 1924. She attended school in Perryton and married Ray SCHWAB on June 29, 1941. Mona taught Sunday school at First Christian Church in Levelland for 12 years. She and Ray had lived in Darrouzett since 1967. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She loved the country, her horses and being with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Dot PEARSON; her father, Pinkney PEARSON; and a sister, Orpha TWEEDY.
Survivors include her husband; her children, Deanna WILDE of Levelland, Kenneth SCHWAB of Hutto and Dixie JERGENSON of Amarillo; eight grandchildren, DeeLaine RUIZ of Levelland, Deanene HOFACKET and Tyler TRAVIS, both of Lubbock, Kerry SCHWAB of Carrollton, Stacey SCHWAB of Austin, Candice SCHWAB of Abilene, Shawn JERGENSON of Midlothian and Shad JERGENSON of Amarillo; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Ilene BEZONA of Pueblo, Colo.; and two brothers, Pinkney PEARSON of Granada, Colo., and Delbert PEARSON of Lamar, Colo.
