Isaac Aranda, 81, passed away Friday July 18, 2014 at his home in Midland.

A prayer service will be held at 7:00 PM Sunday at McNett Funeral Home Chapel in Andrews. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday at La Nueva Jerusalem Church in Andrews. Rev. Richardo Loredo of Midland will officiate. Burial will be in Andrews North Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.

Mr. Aranda was born July 3, 1933 in Mulato, Mexico to Sevonvio and Tirsa Aranda,
He was a longtime farmer and rancher. He loved working the ranch and raising hay. He loved animals, especially horses and he raced horses in his younger days. He was a very popular, outgoing man and had many friends and was a bit of a ladies man. He loved to tell stories and tell jokes. This past year he accepted Christ as his savior and became a Christian.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Tirsa Carrasco; Brothers, Valente and Dario Aranda; sisters Flora Lujan; Porfiria Lujan and Jovita Salazar.

He is survived by his children; Anita Bustamante, Manuel Aranda; Isac Aranda, Jr. all of Andrews; Vickie Loredo; Clara Sierra; Corina Delval; Neri Reynosa all of Midland; Noemi Aranda and Dario Aranda both of Presidio, Texas, brother, Florencio Aranda of Presidio, Texas, 34 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
