Services for Robert E. Bolch 85 of Andrews will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, December 2, 2008 in Second Baptist Church with Rev. Kevin Covington officiating. Burial will follow in the Andrews North Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home. Robert passed away in Midland on Wednesday, November 26, 2008.
Robert Elliott Bolch was born to Jim and Gertrude Bolch in Dickens County in Spur, Texas on March 7, 1923. Robert graduated from Jayton High School in 1941. A veteran of WWII, Robert enlisted in the US Air Force and was assigned to the 2nd combat cargo squadron and served overseas in China, Burma and India theatre of Operations. After honorable discharge from the US Air Force, Robert found employment with the El Paso Natural Gas Co. in Jal, NM in 1947. Robert married Dorothy Russell on September 1, 1953 in Plainview, Texas. Robert retired from El Paso Natural Gas in 1985. He was a member of Second Baptist Church.
Robert was preceded in death by a brother; J.H. Bolch and a sister; Ellie Walton.
