Obituary:
Mrs. Anna STABEL, 83, died November 18 at Ochiltree General Hospital.
Anna Laubhan STABEL was born Sept. 4, 1897 in Russia and moved to the United States during the spring of 1923. She was married to Fred STABEL at Lipscomb in December 1923.
To this union were born five children all who survive. Sons are Arthur STABEL and Elmer STABEL of Booker; daughters include Alvina GLASGOW of Amarillo, Leona PULS of Perryton, and Lenora BRASWELL of Porterville, Calif. Also surving are 15 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren and a sister, mollie KRIEGER, of Okeene, Okla. Her husbnad, Fred STABEL, preceded her in death in 1969.
Mrs. STABEL was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Darrouzett, where services were held November 21, with the Rev. Perry Sloop, officiating. Burial was at the Darrouzett Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were grandsons Max STABEL, Steve PULS, Craig STABEL, Roger STABEL, Mike MERRIMAN and Mark POTTER.
