May 1, 1835 - 1901
Susan passed away in 1901. Because her sickness was contagious she was not given a funeral and her remains were buried in a field south of Buffalo Springs. Over 100 years later her descendants had her remains exhumed. After a long overdo funeral procession she was laid to rest beside her son in the Buffalo Springs Cemetery.
