Bill Forbes, 74, of Andrews died Saturday, Aug. 8, 1998, in Andrews.
He was born Feb. 27, 1924, in Pioneer.
He moved to Andrews from Odessa in 1960. He was involved in the Andrews Sheriff Posse Club. He married Graciela Salcido on Nov. 30, 1990, in Andrews.
He owned Andrews Auto Parts for 14 years and Bill's Auto Parts in Andrews for nine years.
Survivors include his wife; five sons, Bill Forbes of Wimberley, Jim Forbes of Abernathy, John Salcido, George Salcido and Jacob Forbes, all of Andrews; two daughters, Carolyn Oglesby of Amarillo and Karina Trevino of Andrews; three sisters, Elva Thompson of Midland, Maurie Woods of San Angelo and Murel Bennate of Mineral Wells; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
