Robert Carl Goad, 68, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2011 at his home in Andrews, Texas.
Mr. Goad was born November 5, 1942 to Almo and Grace Goad in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He served 2 tours in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He married Frances Harper March 1, 1974 in Lovington, New Mexico.
Robert loved and enjoyed to work, so much that he considered it a hobby of his. His work ethics were an important part of character, which he has passed down several generations. He loved his family most of all including his dogs. But his most precious time spent, was with his grandchildren.
He is survived by, his wife of 37 years, Frances Elizabeth Goad; son, Joe Harper and his wife, Carol, of Andrews, Texas; daughters, Catherine E. Lloyd and her husband, Ricky, Barbara Diane Clark and husband, Casey both of Denver City, Texas; sisters, Tammy of Kansas, Terri Lynn Stallings of Odessa, Texas; grandmother, Bonnie Lee White of Andrews, Texas; 11 grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
