Obituary

McCord

Services for B. M. McCord, 78, of Cameron were at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Marek - Burns - Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron with the Rev. Tom Chamberlain officiating.
Burial was in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
He died Monday in his home.
Mr. McCord was born in Koerth and was a retired shoe repairman.
Survivors are his widow, Teresa McCord of Cameron; two sons, W. D. McCord of Inez and Eugene McCord of New Braunfels; three daughters, Benita Debord and Janie Satterfield, both of Yoakum, and Shirley Tumlinson of Lolita; two step-daughtes, Fay Rohan of Yoakum and Flora Mikulec of Dallas; one sister, Katie Fitch of Koerth; 28 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

We want to thank all of our friends and neighbors for the kindness showed us during the loss of our beloved husband and father, B. M. McCord.
Thanks for the prayers, cards, flowers, food, and visits. Especially do we thank Pastor Rev. Tom Chamberlain for his consoling words, prayers and comforting service.
Also we thank St. Monica's Ladies Society, Dr. A. Cisneros; the pallbearers and Marek - Burns - Laywell Funeral Home. God bless you all.
