Funeral mass for Marjory Josephine Ann Cook, 73, of Denver City will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 6, 2005, in St. William Catholic Church with Father Joe Chorikavunkal officiating. Interment will follow in the Denver City Memorial Park with services under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday, August 4th and Friday, August 5th, in the Ratliff Chapel.

Marjory died Tuesday, August 2, 2005 at her residence. She was born Nov. 10, 1931 in Tornington, Wyo. to Michael and Anna Bopp. She married George Edward Cook in Brighton, Colo. on Sept. 1, 1951. They lived in Goodrich, Colo. where they ranched and owned a dairy farm. In 1977, they moved to Denver City where they purchased Denver City Motor Parts in 1979. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church.

Marjory was preceded in death by her husband, George; five brothers; and one sister.
Survivors include: a son, Eddie Cook and wife Carla; seven daughters, Gloria McBrayer, Janice and husband Galen Ford, Jackie and husband Dennis Middleton, Roseann and husband Bryan Oden, Jonette and husband Brady McConal, all of Denver City, Mary and husband David Foxx of St. Augustine, Fla., Nancy and husband Carl Nixon of Idalou; one niece, who was like a daughter, Michelle Aljiliani of Anaheim, Calif.; four brothers, Vernon Bopp of Denver, Colo., Wilbert Bopp of Orchard, Colo., Billy Bopp of Brush, Colo., and Steve Bopp of Denver City; a sister, Mary Holcomb of South Carolina; a brother-in-law, George S. Cook of Goodrich, Colo.; sixteen grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family suggest memorials to Hospice.
