Gloria Manuela Hernandez "Mi Mom", 65, of Andrews, passed away early Friday, March 11, 2011 at the Home Hospice House in Odessa, Texas with her family at her side.

A Rosary will be held 7:00 PM on Sunday, March 13, 2011 at McNett Funeral Home Chapel in Andrews, Texas. Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM Monday, March 14, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Andrews. Father Joey Faylona will officiate. Burial will follow in Andrews North Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.

Gloria was born December 29, 1945 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Pedro and Velia Salazar. She married Rogaciano Hernandez May 10,1970 in Chihuahua, Chihuahua Mexico. They have lived in Andrews for the past 29 years. Gloria owned and operated a trailer park in Andrews County for several years along with Jazmine’s Fashions with two locations; one in Andrews and another location in Odessa, Texas. She loved to travel and take trips to many unique and beautiful places. Gloria's most cherished memories were with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, Pedro, David, and Alfredo Salazar; two sisters, Concepcion Torres and Carmen Avena.

She is survived by her husband, Rogaciano Hernandez of Andrews, Texas; three daughters, Gloria Angelica Hernandez of Midland, Texas, Velia Ivonne and husband Lorenzo Roman of Odessa, Texas and Jacqueline and husband Timothy Timmons of Andrews, Texas; one brother Miguel and wife Julieta Alvarado of Andrews, Texas; three sisters, Maria Manriquez of Denver, Colorado, Refugio and husband Luis Morales of Hobbs, New Mexico, Nydia Salazar of Andrews, Texas and 10 precious grandchildren Ruben Manriquez, Christopher Manirquez, Lorena Roman, Liliana Roman, Jazmine Timmons, Dante Timmons, Anthony Roman, Christina Penman, Ethan Timmons, and Janalee Roman who will miss her dearly.www.mcnettfuneralhome.com

Rogaciano “Roy” Hernandez, 71, of Andrews passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 in Andrews.

Visitation will be on Thursday, January 31, 2019 from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM at McNett Funeral Home Chapel and prayer services will be held at 6:00 PM Thursday at Jubilee for Jesus Ministries, 1702 West Broadway, in Andrews with Minister Jesus Renteria officiating. Visitation will be on Friday, February 1, 2019 from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Jubilee for Jesus Ministries, and family and friends will gather to celebrate his life at a funeral service at 1:00 PM Friday at Jubilee for Jesus Ministries with Pastor Flor Uvalle officiating. Roy was born on May 24, 1947 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Arnulfo Hernandez and Regina Rubio Hernandez. He was raised in El Mineral Santo Domingo, Chihuahua, Mexico and had lived in Chihuahua. He married Gloria Manuela Salazar on May 10, 1970 in Chihuahua, Mexico, and they moved to Andrews in 1982 from Juarez. He was a welder, handyman, and enjoyed working all the time. He had worked for Compressor Systems, Inc. and Lariat Welding in Odessa. In Andrews, he had worked for Stewart’s Welding, Perry Bob Pool Well Service Company, and Dan Fisher and the Fisher Ranch. He loved spending time with family, traveling, reading his Bible, and liked the Miami Dolphins. His wife and him had owned Jazmine’s Fashions in Andrews and Odessa, Weeping Willow Trailer Park in Andrews, and rental homes in Andrews. He will be remembered as being a jokester and having a great sense of humor. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and provider to his family, and he is known as “Uva” to his grandchildren. He was a member of Jubilee for Jesus Ministries in Andrews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Gloria, on March 11, 2011, his parents, and 2 siblings, Socorro Hernandez and Maria de Jesus Valenzuela.

Roy is survived by his 3 daughters, Gloria Angelica Hernandez of Andrews, Velia Ivonne Roman and husband, Lorenzo, of Odessa, and Jacqueline Timmons and husband, Timothy, of Andrews; 1 brother, Ignacio Hernandez and wife, Maria de Jesus, of Chihuahua, Mexico; 10 grandchildren, Ruben Manriquez, Jr. and wife, Thaila, Christopher Manriquez, Lorena Lujan and husband, Raphael, Sr., Liliana Roman, Jazmine Timmons and husband, Nick Trujillo, Dante Timmons, Anthony Roman, Christina Pennman, Janalee Roman, and Ethan Timmons; 7 great grandchildren, Araceli Jaramillo, Raphael Lujan, Jr., Ruben Manriquez, III, Lexi Manriquez, Jay’Dn Lujan, Lionel Ramirez, and Annabelle Manriquez. www.mcnettfuneralhome.com
