Bill Little, 88, of Andrews passed away on Sunday, February 24, 2019 in Odessa.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life at 1:30 PM Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at Means Memorial United Methodist Church, 311 NE 2nd Street, in Andrews with Rev. Les Hall and Rev. Rick Doyle officiating. Interment will follow in the Andrews North Cemetery under the personal care of McNett Funeral Home in Andrews. Bill was born on May 3, 1930 in Woodson, Texas to Olen Thomas Little and Blanche Gertrude Douglas Little. He was raised in Woodson and graduated from Woodson High School. He played college football at Daniel Baker College and Howard Payne University in Brownwood. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in History and Master’s Degree in Education. He married Dorothy Nell Cole Little on January 16, 1953 in Brownwood. He was an assistant coach in many sports and later became head football coach in De Leon from 1953 – 1963. He served as Principal at Gorman High School from 1963-1964. He served as Principal at McCamey High School from 1964 to 1974 and as Superintendent of McCamey schools from 1974 – 1990. They were very involved in the First United Methodist Church in McCamey, where he taught Sunday School and was involved in the Methodist Men. They moved to Andrews in 2007 from McCamey. He was a member of Means Memorial United Methodist Church in Andrews. He enjoyed playing golf, sports, and watching football. He will be remembered as being gentle, but tough and well respected. He was preceded in death by wife, Dorothy, on February 21, 2008, his parents, and 4 siblings, John Little, Robbie Knoy, Vanada Little, and Mozelle Smith.

Bill is survived by his 2 sons, Scott Little and wife, Lisa, of Andrews and Terry Little and wife, Jana, of Midland; 4 grandchildren, Chris Little and wife, Dana, Kyle Little and wife, Michelle, Cassie Little, Molly Cox and husband, Brett; 7 great grandchildren, Macy Jane Cox, Kendal Blair Cox, Brennan Little, Caden Little, Lynnlee Little, Hallie Little, and Hayes Little.

Services for Dorothy Nell Little, 75 of Andrews will be Graveside, 10:00 AM Saturday, February 23, 2008 in Andrews North Cemetery. Rev. Rick Doyle pastor of Means Memorial United Methodist Church will officiate. Services are under the direction of McNett Funeral Home. Dorothy passed away in Andrews at her residence Thursday, February 21, 2008.

She was born on April 20, 1932 in Brownwood, Texas. Dorothy married Billy Nelson Little on January 16, 1953 in Brownwood. They moved to Andrews from McCamey, Texas. Dorothy was a retired secretary in the banking business, she was a member of the First Methodist Church in McCamey.

Survivors include, husband; Billy Little, Andrews, sons; Scott and wife Lisa Little, Andrews, Terry and wife Jana Little, Midland, brother; L.B. Cole, Andrews, sister; Marie Davis, San Angelo, grandchildren; Cassie Dee Little, Austin, Molly Beth Little, Ft. Worth, Texas, Christopher and wife Dana Little, Leander, Texas, Kyle Little, Austin, great grandson Brennan Little, Leander, Texas.
