Services for George McDaniel 79 of Plano, Texas, formerly of Andrews, will be 10:00 AM Monday, May 26, 2008 at the First Baptist Church in Andrews. Burial will follow in the Andrews North Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.
George was born on May 13, 1929. He served in the in the Navy and was a member of the First Baptist Church. He married Jerry McFarland Piper on November 21, 1992 in Andrews. Jerry preceded him in death on January 28, 2007
Survivors include, sons; Mike McDaniel, Louisville, Texas, Chuck McDaniel, Dallas, Texas, Dick McDaniel, Arlington, Texas, John McDaniel, Plano, Texas Step-daughters; Pam Fisher and Peggy Stavinoha, both of Andrews, Texas, Pat Lock, Tomball, Texa, Paula Thurmond, College Station, Texas, twenty four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday evening, May 25, 2008 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. www.mcnettfuneralhome.com
