*Obituary
ANDREWS - On January 6, 2008, our beloved Rene Roman, Jr. 20 years old, parted to be with the Lord.

He was born June 19, 1987, in Andrews to Frances B. Hernandez and Rene Roman.

The times we had we will cherish. We will miss your big smile and your way of letting us know your love for us. Victoria will remember you pulling her ponytail to make her tough. Ryan will remember how you coached him on football and how you "fussed" about playing "games." As a son you are Frances' "Pride and Joy," and Big Rene's "Punker."

He is survived by his parents; Frances B. Hernandez of Andrews and Rene Roman, Sr. of Midland; Brothers: Ryan Armenderiz of Andrews, and Zeke Roman of Crane; Sisters: Victoria Armenderiz of Andrews, and Raquel Roman of Crane; Grandparents: Nat Bermea, Efrain and Eva Roman of Andrews; Great-Grandparents: Cruz and Frances Lopez and Lucy Bermea of Andrews; Many aunts and uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by Grandmother Frances Bermea.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, 2008, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Andrews. Father Joey Faylona will officiate.

Burial will be in Andrews North Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be: Zeke Roman, Jesus Saldana, Saul Roman, Nathan Bermea, Jose Roman, Jamie Padilla, Samuel Roman and David Espinoza.

Remember as he always said "I'm going out like a CHAMP! Peace!"
