Funeral services for Clay Lambert, 56, of Denver City were held Thursday, March 19, 2015 at 2:PM. in the First assembly of God Church with Rita Reed officiating with services under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Denver City. Interment will follow in Denver City Memorial Park Cemetery. He passed away March 16, 2015, in Denver City. Clay was born on July 31, 1958 in Denver City to J.K. (Nick) and Jean Lambert. He was a Denver City High School graduate, and served 35 years at Oxy Permian as an Automation Specialist. He served one term as City Councilman and loved fast cars.
He was preceded in death by his father, Nick Lambert, in 2011 and a brother, Gabriel Mac Lambert. Clay is survived by his son, Erik of Denver City, a daughter, Melissa Lambert of San Angelo; his mother, Jean Lambert of Denver City; a brother, Tim Lambert of Lubbock; a sister, Deedee Whitney of Denver City; 3 grandchildren, Jayden Loya, Kyiah Carey, and Hudsen Lambert; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
