Bartlett

Services for Edward Bartlett Jr., 66, of Rockdale were at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Rockdale with the Revs. Bruce Williamson and Joe Weldon Bailey officiating.
Burial was in IOOF Cemetery in Rockdale. Mr. Bartlett died Sunday at his home.
He was a Rockdale insurance salesman since 1945 and was chairman of the Rockdale Housing Authority at the time of his death.
He was a U. S. Coast Guard veteran of World War II. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rockdale.
Survivors are his widow, Ellen Bartlett of Rockdale; his stepmother, Mrs. Edward Bartlett Sr. of Rockdale; a brother, Rex Bartlett of Rockdale; three half brothers, Billy Bartlett of Weatherford, Bobby Bartlett of Rockdale and Joe Bartlett of Cameron; and a half sister, Pauline Bartlett of Rockdale.
