Graveside services for Harold Ferguson, 64, of Denver City, Texas were held Monday, January 3, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Denver City Memorial Park in Denver City with Pastor David Jones offi-ciating. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Chapel of Denver City, in association with Boyer Funeral Home of Seminole.

Mr. Ferguson passed away Thursday, December 30, 2010 at his residence following a lengthy illness in Denver City, Texas. He was born July 28,1946 in Etowah, Arkansas to Rebbecca (Stringer) and Johney Ferguson.

He married Linda Shawn in Balsora, Texas on December 23, 1972. Mr. Ferguson is a Church of Christ. He was employed as a truck driver for Bridgeport Tank Trucks.

Mr. Ferguson enjoyed drag rac¬ing, arrowhead hunting, fishing, and collecting model cars. He was an accomplished artist. As a child, he raised a coyote.

Mr. Ferguson is preceded in death by his mother, Pauline Ferguson; one son, Michael Shane Ferguson; and three grandsons, Jimmy Wayne West, Andrew James Walton and Matthew Lee Walton.

He is survived by: his wife,Linda (Shawn) Ferguson of Denver City, Texas; his father, Johney Ferguson of Denver City, Texas; four daugh¬ters, Sheila Murry of Boyde, Texas, Dawn Annette Grisher of Hobbs, New Mexico, Cheryle Roberts of Springtown, Texas, Angela Gibson of Riverside, California:; three sis¬ters, Virginia Sloan of Denver City, Texas, Phylliss Gaines of Andrews, Texas, Mary Ruth Stringer of Seagraves, Texas: three brothers, Edward Ferguson of Colorado City, Texas, Roy Ferguson of Denver City, Texas, Donald Ferguson of Jacksonville, Illinois; 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. boyerfuneralhome.net
