Her headstone reads Corene Mae Deaver, her Find a Grave memorial has her as Katherine Mae, and her obituaries both just use Mae, so I am not sure which first name is correct.

Mae Deaver was born June 20,1928 in Murrray, Texas the daughter of Charlie Luke and Mabel Fay Pounds Williams. She and the Late M.D. Deaver were married in Breckenridge, Texas January 18, 1946 She was a Homemaker and member of the First Baptist Church of Newcastle, Texas.

Mae was preceded in death by her parents; her husband M.D. October 3, 2008 and a son, Jim Deaver.

She is survived today by her daughters, Mae Dean Marshall of Jean, Texas; Eunice Nash and her husband Gene of Irving, Texas; son, Dewey Deaver and his wife Linda also of Jean, Texas; her sisters, Marie Edwards of Graham, Texas; Betty Hawkins and Charlene Smith both of Chouteau, Oklahoma; 6 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Mae Deaver passed away Saturday, June 23, 2012, in Jean. Service: 2 p.m. Monday, First Baptist Church, Newcastle. Interment: Markley Cemetery.

Survivors: Children, Mae Dean Marshall, Eunice Nash, Dewey Deaver; three sisters; six grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
