Born September 18, 1934 at St. Joseph, Missouri. Roger married Irelene Ledbetter on May 25, 1957 in Markley. They moved to Big Spring in 1973. She preceded him in death on January 2, 2004. He was a veteran of Korea and Vietnam having served in the Navy for eight years. He retired from the Air Force in 1975. He was a Baptist and a member of Staked Plains Lodge 598 A.F.& A.M.
