Services for Kathleen Ruth "Kay" Lowder, 90 of Eldorado, Texas will be 2:00 PM Monday, July 30, 2007 in McNett Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Kevin Covington, pastor of Second Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Andrews North Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home. Kay passed away in Eldorado, Texas Saturday morning, July 28, 2007.

Kay was born on August 23, 1916 in Jackson County, Oklahoma. She married P.L. Lowder on March 18, 1939 in Hollis, Oklahoma. She lived in Odessa, Texas for over twenty years, she moved to Eldorado in 2006. Kay was a homemaker and a member of the Chapel Hills Baptist Church in Odessa.

Kay was preceded in death by her husband P.L., three brothers; Murray, Jack and Clois Knight, a sister; Helen Knight. Survivors include, son; Phil Lowder, Carlsbad, NM, daughter; Joy Huntington, Sonora, TX, sister; Mary Abercrombie, Houston, TX, five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. www.mcnettfuneralhome.com
