ANDREWS -- Memorial services for Glen McCubbin, 70, of Andrews will be 4 p.m., Monday, Aug. 30, at Northcrest Baptist Church in Andrews with the Rev. Harvey Enriquez, Pastor, officiating. Cremation was under the direction of McNett Funeral Home in Andrews. He died Friday, Aug. 27, at his residence in Andrews.

He was born Sept. 14, 1933 in Hollis, Okla., to William Matthew McCubbin and Minnie Lee Cancler McCubbin. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He moved to Andrews in 1958 from Lovington, NM. He worked as a field superintendent for DA & S Oil Well Service in Andrews for 40 years. He married Martha Standard on July 12, in Artesia, N.M. He was a member of Northcrest Baptist Church in Andrews.

He is survived by his wife, Martha McCubbin of Andrews; two stepsons, Cecil Standard of Sudan and Clifford Standard of Baker, Montan; four step daughters, Kelle Vanlandingham of Belin, N.M, Stacey Herndon of Midland, Laurie Hughie of Midland, and Marla Smith of Artesia, N.M; two brothers, Robert McCubbin of Hobbs, N.M and Orville McCubbin of Palmdale, Calif.; one sister, Winnie Jean Morgan of Cedar Hill; one grandson, 11 step grandchildren; four step grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces.

Memorials may be sent to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
