Both men were cousins of John Wesley Hardin.
They were involved in the killing of Charles Webb,
deputy sheriff of Brown County, in Comanche on
May 26, 1874. They were in a gunfight with the posse chasing them and were both killed.
Not sure if one or both of them were CSA veterans.
