Services for Theo Verna "Teddy" Mockbee 71 of Andrews, will be 10:00 AM Monday, February 9, 2009 at Means Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Rick Doyle officiating. Burial will follow in the Andrews North Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home. Teddy passed away in Andrews Thursday, February 5, 2009.
She was born on December 9, 1936 in Kalispell, Montana. Teddy was very active with the Women's Division of the Chamber of Commerce, the local food pantry, Meals on Wheels, the Business and Trade Association, the United Way, and the Adult Literacy Board of Directors. Teddy also worked as ministry coordinator and was a youth volunteer at Means Memorial United Methodist Church.
Survivors include; daughters; Shelly and husband Gary Hodges, Dallas, Pam Kearl, Pleasant Grove, Utah, Marni Henderson, Weatherford, son; Richard and wife Melissa Mockbee, Boise, Idaho and nine grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Home Hospice of Andrews 803 North Main, Andrews, TX 79714 or Means Memorial United Methodist Church 311 N.E. 2nd, Andrews, TX 79714. www.mcnettfuneralhome.com
