Ismael Saiz, Jr., 36, of Andrews passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 in Andrews.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life at 11:00 AM Monday, October 9, 2017 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 201 NE Avenue K, in Andrews. Interment will follow in the Andrews North Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday from 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM and Sunday from 1:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Rosary services will be held at 6:00 PM Sunday at McNett Funeral Home Chapel. Please celebrate his life by visiting www.mcnettfuneralhome.com.
Ismael was born on October 21, 1980 in Menard, Texas to Ismael Saiz, Sr. and Marta Martinez. He was raised in Andrews and graduated from Andrews High School. He attended Midland College, and he received his Associate’s Degree in Applied Science in Respiratory Care. He married Maggie Bo Campos on July 23, 2005 in Andrews. He had worked at Brownfield Regional Medical Center for 9 years and Scenic Mountain Medical Center in Big Spring for the last 5 months. He moved back to Andrews in 2017 from Brownfield. He loved the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Tech Football, barbequing with family and friends, and enjoyed playing golf. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and on the beach. He loved playing ball and video games with his boys and Shopkins with Lily Bug. He attended Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Ninfa Saiz and Louis and Isabel Martinez, and his uncle and aunt, Cano and Anita Saiz.
Ismael is survived by his wife, Maggie Saiz of Andrews, 4 children, Maldamar, Merqucio, Ililiana, and Melkisavec Saiz, all of Andrews, mother, Marta Alaniz and husband, Rene, of Andrews, father, Ismael Saiz, Sr. of Big Spring, 2 brothers, Alfredo Cordova and wife, Monica Rodriguez, of Big Spring and Israel Saiz of Big Spring, 2 sisters, Audrey Owen and husband, Casey, of San Angelo and Ashley Saiz of Lubbock, and his dog, Zoe.
