Elmont (Bill) Suggs, 83, of Odessa passed away Wednesday February 28,2007 at Alliance Hospital in Odessa. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Monday At McNett Funeral Home Chapel in Andrews. Rev. Alvin Petty pastor of Wesley United Methodist Church of Andrews will officiate. Burial will be in Andrews North Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.
Bill was born May 17, 1923 in Parris, Arkansas. He Served in the US Army from 1943 untill he retired in 1971 as a First Sergeant. He married Waltrauth (Trutty) Werner in Manhiem Germany on April 14, 1955. Bill was a doting husband and loved to spoil his wife Trutty, he also loved to hunt and fish. After his retirement he had an exterminating business. He and Trutty also worked in real estate, buying homes fixing them up and selling them or keeping them as rental property. He is survived by: Wife - Trutty Suggs, of Odessa; One Brother - O.L. Suggs of Demming, NM and One Sister - Martha Cook of Poterville, California. www.mcnettfuneralhome.com
