Harold Matthew Ables, Sr., 51, of Lubbock, passed away on June 3, 2007. Graveside service will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, June 7, 2007, in Rosemound Cemetery in Waco. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, June 6, at Resthaven Funeral Home in Lubbock, and from 9 to 11 a.m., Thursday, June 7, at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors, Waco.
Harold was born in Lamesa, Texas, to H.M. and Betty (Baynes) Ables. He married Lou Luna on April 4, 1983, in Lubbock.
Survivors include his wife, Lou; sons: Matt Ables and wife, Caroline, Calvin Ables and wife, Liz, and Eric Ables and wife, Alicia; grandchildren, Austin and Amanda; mother, Betty Ables; brother, Charles Ables; nieces, Misty Vandever and Christy Devenport; other relatives and many friends.
